Light, tide, emotion

Since moving to Barcelona, I dreamed of creating portraits inspired by the raw, haunting beauty of the “Wicked Game”video by David Lynch — poetic, emotional, real. I began photographing by the sea, always early in the day, chasing the shifting light and the rhythm of the tide. The sea was never the same, neither was the woman in front of my lens – dancers, actresses, yoga teachers, coaches, creatives. The result? Atmospheric, emotionally charged portraits that hold something sacred. Though I once imagined this series in black and white, I left the colour — because the water gave me too much to hide. This series is ongoing. A personal, intimate project that continues to evolve.
